BYOfood to this vegan picnic! Our first in-person event since February 2020 – we missed you all!

Back in 2019 BloomingVeg hosted a huge grill out with burgers and toppings provided by Bloomingfoods and Fresh Thyme. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it an annual tradition in 2020, and this year it’s taking on a different form.

But we missed you and are so glad to have our first in-person event!

What to bring:

Bring your own everything: food, plate, beverage, chair or blanket, sunscreen etc.

If you would like to bring a vegan item to share please have individual portions as we won’t be hosting this potluck style.

Where to go:

Ninth Street Park / Rev. Butler Park is located at 812 W. Ninth St. at the intersection of West Ninth and North Fairview Streets. Car parking is available along Ninth Street, or in the small parking lot near the playground off North Fairview. Bike racks are available near the parking lot.

There are two shelters at the Northeast section of the park, the shelters are not reservable so look for the BloomingVeg banner to find the right spot!

COVID Precautions:

We’re hosting this outdoors and will have plenty of room to space out. If you’re vaccinated no need to wear a mask but please have one on hand just in case. If for any reason you are not vaccinated, please wear a mask while note eating and keep 6′ distance from others.

Attendees of BloomingVeg events are expected to follow the Safer Spaces policy.
